| Approximately 3 feet in diameter by 4 inches deep. Double gilded with Dutch metal as a base, and silver leaf as the second layer, applied with a resist medium. Also combined with Japan paints. Chemical patina is potash sulfurated and sodium sulfide, finished with a satin lacquer. Turned from laminated poplar and California bay laurel, also known as myrtle. |
